Cutrine-Plus granular controls a vast majority of problematic algae, but Cutrine-Plus granular is particularly effective on bottom growing algae.  The granular formulation allows the chemical to release at the bottom of the water to ensure maximum effectiveness for bottom growing algae.  Treat at the first sight of algae growth.  Use a hand spreader or scoop for even distribution and ease of application.
