Subsurface
Aeration Aeration promotes circulation for a
healthy pond
without disturbing the ponds natural surroundings.
Aeration systems help
to restore lakes, ponds, and canals by oxygenating the water from
top to bottom.
By adding oxygen to the water the overall
health of the water body can
improve.
Aeration can:
*Reduce algae growth
*Reduce internal nutrient cycling
*Improve fish growth and health
*Eliminate fish kills
*Improve water clarity
*Eliminate foul odors
*Reduce muck over time
Our typical Aeration System
Aeration System Features:
Gast
brand oil-less rotary vane compressor with overload
protection, air filter, and inlet check valve. A piston
compressor may be used for deep hole aeration applications
Heavy
duty 5/8" self sinking air line remains on the pond bottom even
when filled with air.
Self-weighted
air stone diffusers with check valve. Produces fine
bubbles for better aeration.
Heavy
duty 1/8" steel lockable cabinet. Equipped with a cooling
fan, sound proofing, and electric
receptacles.
Most
ponds have little to no oxygen near the bottom. When this
condition exists fish and other aquatic organisms such as muck eating
bacteria cannot live.
The
bubbling
action of our aeration system can solve this problem by gently
circulating the water while adding oxygen.
